Alexie Catherine Jones Memorial Fund
Alexie Catherine Jones was stillborn to ABT Gillespie Faculty member, Sarah Jones and her husband, Chris, on March 25, 2017. Before birth, Alexie spent much of her short life in classes and rehearsals at the ABT Gillespie School where Sarah teaches students of all ages and is the Children’s Ballet Mistress for ABT’s The Nutcracker.
The Jones family established the Alexie Catherine Jones Memorial Fund to share their love of ballet and give a young ballerina the opportunity to dance at southern California’s most prestige ballet school, the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
